We are now seeking a Graduate Environmental Advisor to join our Laverton operation HSE team. In this role, you will apply your university studies and relevant experiences to provide operational support to the Genesis sites through the collection, organisation, and reporting of environmental data. You’ll also assist with a range of environmental management activities, gaining hands-on experience while given opportunities to build on your academic knowledge of compliance, sustainability, and operational best practices.

We would love to hear from graduating students in their final year of study in Environmental Science, or a related discipline, who are keen to apply their knowledge in a practical, site-based role.

The Opportunity:

• Undertake environmental monitoring in accordance with monitoring schedules.
  
• Understanding of database types, selection of appropriate database for range of tasks, tools within database for querying, extracting and analysing relevant data, quality control checks.
  
• Assist with environmental studies and surveys under direction and supervision of Environment Team
  
• Assist in the development of internal and external reports, including regulatory reporting
  
• Understanding of legislative requirements related to the acquisition, operation and maintenance of a tenement
